Alexis explains how she heard about the project and why she chose Rocoto Relleno,
“I got your request for a Peruvian recipe from Cara who originally got it from Bryce Powell. I think your project is great and I would love to try some of the stuff you come up with (don't worry I won't eat your food). So the recipe I've chosen is called Rocoto Relleno (Stuffed Hot Pepper). I've chosen it because it is not only a delicious meal but the one I prepared the most while living in the US. Most of the ingredients that are not available in the US can be substituted."
